PSC officers are trained to concentrate on the advantages of working as partners to meet the needs of our clients. This falls into our custom program with clients. Our uniformed security officers are carefully screened and selected, extensively trained, continuously monitored, and evaluated on an ongoing basis to ensure we are meeting the client’s expectations.
Selecting the right person for the right position is central to PSC’s stated goal of cultivating lasting customer relationships. PSC takes pride in having qualified personnel in place to evaluate applicants who can match an individual to the right assignment. Our security management specialists make certain that all PSC security personnel meet our strict minimum requirements, keeping in mind that additional requirements may be necessary at your facility.
Position Summary: SECURITY GUARD
We are seeking security professionals with experience in security operations at many of our San Diego’s Shopping Centers. The Security Guards responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
Ability to understand and work within a security contract obligation.
Be visible throughout the center in a uniform and duty belt.
Ability to identify possible security concerns and address those concerns with the utmost professionalism and discretion
Skilled in incident report writing and crime incidents.
Provide first aid when necessary.
Develops effective relationships with all levels law enforcement personnel and other emergency agencies.
Must poses a valid State of California BSIS guard card in good standing
Must had a valid SSN card or permit to work in the US
Must pass a State and Federal background check
Must pass a drug and alcohol screening test
Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service
Military and law enforcement experience preferred
Proficient in computers software like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and ability to learn company software programs.
All Shifts / Full Time /Part Time / Day Shift / Swing Shift / Graveyard.
